An average golfer playing an 18 hole round bends over to tee their ball 36 times.  


This procedure involving knee, hips , back, joints and muscles. As well as fine motor skills for ball handling and good balance to place the ball on the tee.

In the green area even more bending occurs.


Carrying clubs to the green, approach shots involve dropping clubs not used and then picked up multiple times. 


Once the ball is on the green bending includes ; marking the ball, replace with ball, pick up marker and retrieving ball out of cup.


An average round bending per hole can be up to 4 times or more.


Tee 36 bends & 72 green bends: =108 bends per round.


Bending is a problem for golfers with temporary or permanent health issues or mobility limitations.
